I’ve been quiet, lots has happened. I changed jobs and been watching my daughter grow.

PowerShell edit function

A few weeks ago I went to PowerCamp, where I noticed Thomas Lee and James O’Neill had their own “edit” functions. So I wanted something similar because it was useful. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time to copy it down, so I ended up writing my own.

PowerCamp London 19-20Mar11

I had the good fortune of being able to attend PowerCamp a few weeks ago. A few people following me have asked what it was about with guesses ranging from a weight loss program to a class on how to be powerfully camp!

PowerCamp was a two day course on PowerShell.

VirtualBox and VM cloning

Ever since my colleague pointed out to me that VirtualBox could run x64 guest OS, I was hooked. The one thing lacking was the ability to clone VMs. I knew of VboxManage.exe and other commands, but didn’t want to become a VirtualBox guru.
